A WORD TO WOMEN

Dove
"It is most laudable in a married woman to be devout, but she must never forget that she is a housewife; and sometimes she must leave God at the altar to find Him in her housekeeping."

St.Frances of Rome

Mother and Son

You have probably heard it said that, "The heart of a woman was made for love." ,and this is very true. For most women, the meaning of their existence centers around the relationships in their lives.

Catholic women who have been called to the vocation of marriage dream of creating a home that will resemble the Holy Family of Nazareth. A family where love and peace are the norm and where solid Christian values are learned by the children, because children model what they see and hear.

Unfortunately, this ideal has never been more difficult to attain than it is now. The mass media have done a very effective job of constantly presenting all of the worst, most harmful, values to our children, while holding up for ridicule the Christian values that we cherish.

God, in His great goodness, would never ask us to accomplish the impossible, so He has given us special helps to combat the unique evils of our time and to protect the souls of those we love. One of these great gifts is the Holy Family Institute.

Parting of Mother and Son

If you would like to increase the power and scope of your prayers for those you love; if you would like to do something positive to change destructive trends in mass media and promote good media; if you would like knowing that thousands of priests, brothers, sisters, consecrated laity and cooperators are praying for your family every day; if you would like to hear more about a group of "consecrated" laity with a rule of life and apostolate designed for married couples by married couples then please read Fr. Tom's page. He has much more to tell you about this great gift of the Holy Family Institute.

May the Divine Master bless you and those you love.
